Mindscape Emporium is a body of work built through sculpted form, surface accumulation, and hybrid structures that sit between organic growth and constructed systems. Each piece begins as a three-dimensional form and is developed through material-driven processes, where surfaces are layered, interrupted, and refined over time rather than cleanly designed. The resulting images are not illustrations in the traditional sense, but residual objects—forms that feel as though they have persisted, eroded, or evolved within unknown systems. Elements of ceremonial structure, biomechanical detail, and environmental texture are combined into a continuous visual language that moves between still image, physical object, and ambient visual field.Across prints, objects, and long-form visual loops, the work maintains a focus on slow transformation, material memory, and the tension between precision and decay. These pieces are not variations of a single idea, but fragments of an ongoing system—each one connected, but never identical. ---
My artistic journey spans four decades, evolving alongside the technologies I use to create. Working with Maya, ZBrush, Photoshop and emerging generative tools, I explore my inner cosmos through experimentation, discovery and countless transformations — giving form to landscapes, structures and strange inhabitants, turning thoughts into images, and images into portals to worlds that might otherwise never exist. A note on presentation: The lifestyle images are imaginative interpretations of how these artworks might inhabit different spaces, from contemporary interiors to more speculative environments. Some compositions may present the artwork at an enlarged scale for visual effect. Please refer to the stated print dimensions (70 × 100 cm) for its actual size.
Within the Machine Rainforest, the exchange of information depends upon countless specialised living systems. The Signal Skinks are among the Archive's mobile couriers, moving through ancient relay corridors beneath the canopy and carrying encoded information between distant regions of the living network. Their armoured bodies and illuminated crest structures appear to have developed alongside the technology they serve, making it increasingly difficult to determine where organism ends and machine begins. This observation records one of these remarkable creatures at close range, revealing the intricate structures that allow it to remain connected to the wider Archive. The reverse presents a corresponding environmental observation from the Machine Rainforest, placing the Signal Skink within the ecosystem through which it travels.Classification: Signal Fauna Function: Mobile Information Courier Region: Machine Rainforest Status: Operational Printed on both sides of a substantial 24-inch square velvet cushion, with the artwork continuing naturally through the edges and finished with piping.
