Mindscape Emporium is a body of work built through sculpted form, surface accumulation, and hybrid structures that sit between organic growth and constructed systems. Each piece begins as a three-dimensional form and is developed through material-driven processes, where surfaces are layered, interrupted, and refined over time rather than cleanly designed. The resulting images are not illustrations in the traditional sense, but residual objects—forms that feel as though they have persisted, eroded, or evolved within unknown systems. Elements of ceremonial structure, biomechanical detail, and environmental texture are combined into a continuous visual language that moves between still image, physical object, and ambient visual field.Across prints, objects, and long-form visual loops, the work maintains a focus on slow transformation, material memory, and the tension between precision and decay. These pieces are not variations of a single idea, but fragments of an ongoing system—each one connected, but never identical.
Using Maya, ZBrush, and Photoshop, I investigate, experiment, and project my inner cosmos — turning thought into art, and art into portals.
Within the deeper regions of the Machine Rainforest, numerous organisms appear to have developed specialised relationships with the Archive's living communication systems. This observation records a large winged organism encountered among the illuminated growths of an active rainforest sector. Its broad translucent wings contain intricate geometric structures resembling the circuitry visible throughout many Archive plants and signal-bearing organisms. Fine luminous pathways appear to continue through the wings, forming patterns that change subtly according to the surrounding light. The organism's elongated body is heavily integrated with these structures, with mechanical and biological components appearing to have developed together over an extremely long period. Whether the machine-organic elements were originally constructed or emerged through prolonged interaction with the Archive remains uncertain.Nearby signal flowers extend their illuminated filaments through the surrounding vegetation, creating a dense network of light and information. Small luminous nodes appear to connect the organism with the surrounding environment, although the precise nature of these interactions has not yet been established. The creature does not appear to be merely passing through. It appears to belong here. The reverse of the cushion reveals a wider environmental observation from the same region of the Machine Rainforest. Towering vegetation, translucent signal flowers and interconnected luminous growths form the surrounding ecosystem, providing a broader view of the environment in which the organism was recorded.Together, the two sides form a paired fragment of the Archive: the observed organism and the living environment surrounding it.As with many recovered observations, the distinction between biological organism, machine system and communication infrastructure becomes increasingly difficult to maintain. The Archive appears to have made no distinction between them for a very long time.Classification: Faunal ObservationRegion: Machine RainforestRecord Type: Organism / Environmental ObservationStatus: OperationalPrinted across both sides of a substantial 24-inch square cushion, with the front presenting the primary organism observation and the reverse revealing its corresponding rainforest environment. The artwork continues naturally through the edges, while optional piping provides a defined, finished form.
